Part 1. Read a text aloud

Q1. ARS – 난이도 중

1.    “r” 발음 - reach, relation

2.    “l” 발음 – late, live

3.    숫자 읽기

4.    accent 에 유의하여 읽기

Q2. Advertisement– 난이도 중

1.    긴 문장 끊어 읽기

2.    “z” 발음 – zoo, zero  

3.    “t” 발음 – counter,   

4.    “-ain”- entertainment, train

5.     “r”과 “l” 발음의 구분- order vs. older

6.    A, B, and C

Part 2. Describe a picture

Q3. 사진을 묘사하는 문제 – 난이도 하

①      실외에서 찍힌 사진

②      소수의 사람이 등장하는 사진

③      사람의 동작 및 상태 묘사

④      설명 대상 간의 위치 관계를 통해 설명

1.    장소 - This picture was taken on a street.

2.    주인공 - The first thing I see is some people walking around the street. In the middle of the picture, there are two women crossing the street. The woman on the right side is holding a red bag on her shoulder.  

3.    주변 – Behind them, I can see another woman holding an umbrella and a car stopped at the crosswalk. On the right side of the picture, there is a big tree with green leaves standing on the sidewalk. In the background of the picture, I can see some buildings. They seem like factories.    

4.    마무리 - Generally, it seems like a typical scene of the street.  

Part 3. Respond to questions – 난이도 상 & 신유형

Q4. 간단한 정보를 묻는 의문문  

I should introduce myself to co-workers by explaining my name, hobbies, or interests.  

Q5. 의문사 없는 의문문 & why

I would spend time with my co-workers outside of the workplace, and it can help us get closer to each other.

Q6. Recommendation & why

I think it is easier to work with talkative co-workers. Many conversations will help us get acquainted with each other and work together. We can share useful information.

(상황 설명 및 문제점) According to our meeting, we are going to open our new restaurant tomorrow. Everything goes well but we have one problem with our uniforms. The company that makes our uniforms misprinted the name of our restaurant and it takes a week to fix the problem. So, we are thinking about how to solve this problem.      

(해결책) To solve this problem, I suggest that we should borrow uniforms from other existing branches. They usually have some extra uniforms in case of emergency. Or, we can make our employees wear suits. Wearing suits help them look clean and neat.

Part 6. Express an opinion – 난이도 중

(서론) I think using technology in education is the best way for a high school to improve the quality of education.  

(본론) First, students can easily get helpful information. Nowadays, many people use the Internet to get information. Students will also be able to get more diverse information needed for studying if they use the Internet. This is effective in improving the quality of education. Second, students can save their time. They don’t have to go to a library to get sources for studying. The only one thing they must do is getting various information on the Internet. Also, it is an effective way for students to learn technology more easily.

(결론) For these reasons, I think that using technology is the best way to improve the quality of education.
