World Affair (High advanced English Community)

※ What is “World Affair”?

"World Affair" will invite people who are passionately involved in English Language and culture whether they have been abroad for a long term or have the capabilities of corresponding in English having studied in Korea. There are many so-called “High advanced debate study group”, however "World Affair" is truly the most powerful and beneficial in the field. We ensure that you have an incredible experience. We are not only aiming to improve and maintain English competence but also to embark on social networking among members, through sharing opinions. That is the aim of "World Affair"

※Objective

High Advanced Conversation is designed for high level speakers ready to take their communication abilities to the next level: native-like proficiency. In depth group discussions on current or controversial issues combined with news and entertainment material from everyday life will help members immerse themselves in the language, both inside and outside. People ready to take on the challenge of "World Affair" must be ready to participate actively in all discussions, as well as to engage in web communication with members while following the guidelines of the group. The goal is to be members of an active group which both combines a unique social environment, prepares for conversations with people from various cultures all around the world. The purpose of "World Affair” is to improve and maintain highly acquired language capabilities and to gradually expand situation-based conversational knowledge through debating and discussions.

※ Requirements

1^st. Express opinions with appropriately to any topics are given.

2^nd. High scores of English assessments (TOEIC, TOEFL, TEPS, GRE, GMAT etc.)

3^rd. Having resided in English speaking country at least over 2years

4^th. Willing to participate in steadily, showing up on time

5^th. Students, employees who is currently studying and working abroad.

6^th. Being responsible, not to ruin or distract from the group atmosphere

7^th. Interpreter officer or preparing to be, Students of or preparing for graduate school of interpretation and translation.
