21일차 출첵합니다.

오늘은 등위접속사 (For 이유, And 그리고, Nor ~도 아니다, But 그러나, Or 또는, Yet 그러나, So 결과)와 상관접속사(Both A and B, Either A or B, Neither A nor B, Not A but B = B but not A, Not only A but also B = B as well as A)를 배웠고, 출제 포인트도 함께 공부했습니다. 어휘는 유사의미 동사 첫 시간으로, enroll : subscribe : apply : register, postpone : reschedule, affect : effect 등을 자세히 공부했습니다.

기본기 다지기

① 접속사의 역할 ▶ 단어 / 구 / 절을 연결

1) 단어 + 단어 a car and a house

2) 구 + 구 growing vegetable and raising animals

3) 절 + 절 The power went out, so I left the office early.

※ 하지만 대부분의 접속사는 절과 절만 연결

② 등위접속사 (FANBOYS)

For And Nor But Or Yet So

[ANBOY] 단어 / 구 /절 모두 연결 For, So는 절과 절만 연결

기본적으로 A=B

Both A and B 둘 다 / Either A or B 둘 중 하나

1. 단어, 구, 절 연결 → ANBOY [For / So는 절과 절만 연결]

2. S + V, ____ S + V → 문장 중간에 위치

3. S + V ____ V [앞 문장과 동일한 주어 및 조동사 생략 가능]

+ For를 이유를 나타내는 접속사 용법이 현대 영어에서는 거의 사라짐

→ because, since, as, now that 등을 대신 사용함

※ 상관접속사의 종류
