능동태와 수동태란?
능동태) 철수가 풍선을 터트렸다. -> 주어가 영향을 끼친다.
수동태) 풍선이 터졌다. -> 주어가 영향을 받는다.
=be p.p.
현재 수동형 am/are/is + p.p.
과거 수동형 was/were + p.p.
미래 수동형 will be + p.p.
현재진행 수동형 am/are/is + being + p.p.
과거진행 수동형 was/ were + being + p.p.
현재완료 수동형 have/has + been+ p.p.
과거완료 수동형 had+ been + p.p.
미래완료 수동형 will have been + p.p.
ex. The organization was founded in 2016. -> 수동태
She implemented the new policy. -> 능동태
능동태 문장 He fixed the computer.
수동태 문장 The computer was fixed. (by him)
목적어 자리: 명사, 대명사, 동명사, to부정사 , 명사절
- 능동태와 수동태 구별 방법
능동태 : 목적어 O
수동태 : 목적어 X (수식어 O)
ex. He (was checked, checked) the guest list.
The investigation (conducted, was conducted) by Ms.Murphy
The resume (should submit, should be submitted) within a week.
Mr.James (is insisted, insists) that he is innocent.

by가 아닌 다른 전치사와 함께 쓰는 수동태 표현
전치사 in
be engaged in, be interested in, be involved in
ex. John in engaged in cancer research.
He was involved in the incident.
전치사 at
be surprised at, be shocked at, be frightened at
ex. We were surprised at his behavior.
The writer was shocked at the criticism.
전치사 with
be (dis)satisfied with, be pleased with, be equipped with
ex. We are please with the recent sales increase.
Each room is equipped with basic furniture.
