[어휘]동사 관련 어구2-1

형용사는 명사를 수식한다는 것만 알고 있었는데 이번 강의를 통해서 주격보어와 목적격보어로도 사용된다는 것을 알게 되었습니다. 형용사는 이 외에도 알아야 할 것이 많은데 그 중에서도 선생님이 중요하다고 강조하신 부분을 위주로 공부하면 됩니다.

먼저 명사를 뒤에서 수식해주는 후치수식 형용사가 있는데 구체적인 예문을 통해서 어떻게 형용사가 명사를 뒤에서 꾸며주는지 확인하는 것이 중요합니다. 선생님이 추가 자료에 후치수식 형용사를 정리해놓았다고 하시니 출력해서 열심히 외워야겠다는 생각이 듭니다.

선생님이 말씀해주신 출제 포인트가 네 가지 있는데 다른 내용보다 더 중점을 두어서 공부할 필요가 있습니다. ‘1.all/both/half는 of빼고 사용가능 2.of 다음에 복수명사가 오면 of앞의 대명사에 수일치 3.of 다음에 불가산명사가 오면 무조건 단수 취급 3.every of는 없다.‘가 그것들입니다.

그리고 considerable(상당한), considerate(사려 깊은)과 같이 모양은 비슷하지만 뜻이 다른 형용사의 경우 혼동하기 쉽고 엉뚱한 형용사를 사용할 수 있기 때문에 철저하게 외워야 합니다. 어휘는 지난시간에 이어서 동사관련 어구에 대해서 공부했는데 오늘 공부한 것들은 모두 동의를 가지고 있었습니다. 토익시험에서는 같은 단어를 반복해서 사용하지 않고, 뜻은 같지만 형태는 다른 동의어를 사용하는 경우가 많으므로 열심히 외워야겠다는 생각이 듭니다.
