안녕하세요, 바흐작품에 대한 글을 읽고 있는데 제가 제대로 내용을 이해하고 있는지 모르겠습니다.



제가 이해한 것이 맞는지 다른 분들의 의견을 듣고 싶습니다. ^^









1. The earliest catalogue of Bach’s compositions – admittedly a very rough one – was included in the obituary that C.P.E. Bach and J.F. Agricola wrote immediately after Bach’s death but did not publish until 1754. It scarcely provides an adequate idea of the extent of Bach’s works, but it shows that nearly everything printed during Bach’s lifetime has survived to the present day. 



바흐곡에 대한 가장 오래된 카탈로그는 CPEBach 와 Agricola가 바흐 죽음 바로 이후에 쓴 것으로, 사망기사에 포함되어 있었지만 1754년까지 출판되지 않았다. 그것은 바흐의 작품들에 대해 충분한 Idea(어떤 단어가 맞을까요?) 를 제공하지는 않지만 바흐생전에 출판된 거의 모든 작품들을 다루고 있고 오늘날 까지 남아있다. 







2. Most of them(the manuscript) went to Wilhelm Friedemann, but he, unfortunately, was the least succussful at managing his inheritance; he was compelled for financial reasons to sell them off item by item, and the material is not simply scattered but for the most part lost. Only a few of the items inherited by Johann Christoph Friedrich and Johann Christian can be traced.

대부분의 원고들은 W.Friedmann에게 전해졌으나 불행히도 그는 그의 상속물을 관리하는데 있어서 성공적이지 못했다. 그는 재정적인 이유로 어쩔 수 없이 item by item(어떻게 해석 가능한가요?)으로 그것들을 팔아넘겼다.  그가 그 원고들을 무작정 흩뿌리지는 않았지만 대부분은 사라졌다. 몇몇 작품들만이 J.C.Friedrich에게서  J.Christian로 계속 념겨질 수 있었다. 





3. In Berlin a notable Bach collection was made for Princess Anna Amalia of Prussia, under the direction of Kirnberger, in which all facets of Bach’s creative output were represented. These secondary sources have to serve when autograph material is not available.

베를린에서 중요한 바흐 모음집이 Kirnberger의 감독하에 프로이센의 안나...공주를 위해 만들어졌다. 이 모음집은 바흐의 창의적인 작품들에대한 측면을 보여준다.  마지막 문장(무엇을 secondary sources라고 하는지 모르겠어요..)





4. Research into source materials, notably in conjunction with the Neue Bach-Ausgabe, has proved fruitful. The use of diplomatic research methods has allowed most of the copyists who worked for Bach – and all the important ones – to be identified.

원 자료에 대한 조사는, 특히 Neue Bach Ausgabe(새로은 바흐 작품목록) 와의 연관점에서, 결실이 있었다.(라고 해석할 수 있는지요)  diplomatic(?) 조사방법의 사용은 대부분의 사필작가들에 의해 밝혀지도록 허락되었다.(?? 이해가 안가는 문장입니다. 이름을 밝힐수 있다는 것인가요)





5. Numerous copies by Bach of other composers’ works have come to light.

바흐가 쓴 상당한 양의 다른 작곡가들의 사본이 밝혀졌다. - '다른 작곡가들의 곡을 바흐가 카피했다' 는게 맞나요?
