안녕하세요 종로에서 TOEIC SPEAKING 중급을 맡고 있는 전승기 선생님입니다.

지금부터 토익 스피킹 2015년 2월 22일 오전 10시 30분 시험에 대한 총평을 시작하겠습니다.

Part 1

Question 1.

뉴스

1. 뉴스지문을 효과적으로 전달 → 고유명사, 사람이름 또박또박 발음하세요.

2. 처음 보는 단어/고유명사가 나왔다면? → 걱정하지 마세요!

적어도 3초이상 투자한다 생각하시고 철자 모두 파악 후에 알고있는 비슷한 단어를 바탕으로 발음해주세요!

3. We will interview him tomorrow around this time / to understand his view. 수식어구가 길 경우 꼭 한번 더 읽어서 어디서 끊어야 할 지 결정하고 넘어가세요!

4. 문장의 나열 A↗,B↗, and C↘ 은 꼭 지켜서 천천히 강조하며 읽어주세요.

Question 2.

안내문

1. Welcome ~ 음을 높게 잡으면서 말씀하시면 확실히 억양이 잘 들어갑니다.

2. Two, three, first, second 숫자의 경우 확실히 강조해준다는 느낌으로 읽어주세요.

3. 복합명사는 앞에단어에 강세가 들어갑니다.

4. 접두어라면? Pre-, de-, un-, re-,같은경우 뒤의 단어에 강세 넣어주세요. Receive, prepare

5. 문장의 나열 A↗,B↗, and C↘ 은 꼭 지켜서 천천히 강조하며 읽어주세요.

6. Part 1같은 경우는 많은 사람들에게 읽어준다고 생각하세요!

밖에서 찍힌 사진

- 사람들이 많을 경우, 각각 어디에 위치해있는지 미리 설명해주고 그 인물들을 묘사하시면 더 좋습니다.

- 그룹화는 사람들의 행동이 기준입니다.

- 중심 대상을 어디에 맞출 것인지도 생각해보시기 바랍니다.

- 주변 대상은 밖에서 볼 수 있는 사물들의 어휘를 많이 익히고

그 각각의 어휘들을 어떻게 표현할 것인가를 평소에 연습하시면 큰 도움이 됩니다.

- 시간 항상 체크하면서 일정 시간이 지나가면 주변묘사, 느낌, 날씨 등 준비된 템플릿을 말해주세요.

This picture is taken at the garden of an apartment complex. What I first see is many people sitting around the table with a parasol. On the left side, there is a man with sunglasses drinking water. Next to him, I can see a woman looking for some items from her purse. On the right side of the picture, there are two people browsing some information using their phones. I can see an apartment with lots of windows in the background of the picture, and a man is walking along the path. The weather must be sunny and shiny because people are wearing sunglasses, and the atmosphere is calm and peaceful.

얼마나 먼가요?

It takes about 20 minutes to get to the fitness center on foot. It can be a good warming up before exercising.

시간이얼마나 걸리는지, 혹은 몇 정거장에 있다고 말을하면 좀 더 구체적인 답변이 될 수 있겠습니다.

Question 5.

무엇을 제일 좋아하세요?

I love to exercise in the cycling session. The fitness center offers great fitness programs such as yoga, cycling and swimming. It gives me a lot of motivation.

장소에서 할 수있는 여러가지 중 하나를 선택해주세요.

가장 기본적인 행동(예: 도서관-책읽기, 카페-커피마시기) 외에 무엇을 좋아하는지를 물어본다면?

There are several advantages of a fitness center. First of all, there are lots of working out machines, so I can stay healthy and keep in shape. Also, trainers and instructors are very helpful to improve my posture and strength when I work out.

(주 해결 방안 제시) Well, I’ll be more than happy to help you! I’m glad to say that we are planning to hire some people from outside of the country. That way, by working with people with different cultural background, our employees can learn about other customs and languages. (두 번째 해결방안-부가적) also, do you know that our company is offering a training session for the people who are willing to work in foreign countries? If you send your employees there, it will be very practical for them.

세가지중 하나 선택하기

Question 11.

이유 1: 교우에 충실한다는 것은 힘이 들 때 크게 도움이 됩니다.

이유 2: 유머감각이 뛰어나면 서로 놀때는 좋겠지만 가벼운 우정이 될 수 있습니다.

In my opinion, the loyalty is the most important factor when you find a person to be your company. And here are several reasons. (첫 번째 근거) The main reason is that being loyal is the most essential part in friendship. If you find someone who is not loyal to the relationship, then the people may deceive or betray you, and the relationship may not last long because they can leave you if they find the reason to do so. (두 번째 근거) Also, unlike loyalty, if you choose friends because they have a good sense of humor, you may not have descent relationship with the person, but only hangout casually for fun. (끝 맺음) I have my friends for over 10 years and I believe we are still friends because of the loyalty. So I believe loyalty is the most important factor.
