        따라서,사람을 묘사할 때의 필수 요소들과 어휘들을 알고 있어야 한다.

TIP! 단순하게 성격과 묘사로 끝내지 말고,

        식구간의 관계 등에 관해 자신의 의견을 덧붙이면 보다 창의적인 답변이 될 수 있다.

* 표현설명

1. 나는 혼자 삽니다.

→ I live alone. I don't have a roommate.

 

2. ~와 함께 살다

→ I live with

TIP! 묘사할 인물을 상상해보면서 성격에 관한 다양한 어휘를 익히자.

        사랑하는 아내와 사랑스러운 딸아이와 함께 살다 
        → I have a loving wife and an adorable daughter.

TIP! 애완동물이 있다면 함께 소개를 하는 것도 좋다.

        한 살 짜리 강아지를 기르고 있다
         → I have a one-year-old puppy at home.

        나는 언니와 같은 방을 쓴다.

3. 외모

1) 언니는 나와 비슷하게 생겼다.
→ My elder sister and I look alike.
    We resemble each other.
    People often think we're twins.
   People can't tell us apart.

2) 자매라고 할 수 없을 정도로 전혀 안 닮았다
→ We don't look anything like each other.
    We don't look like sisters at all.

TIP! 듣는 사람이 상상할 수 있을 정도로 상세히 생생하게 묘사해보자.

         → tall 키가 큰/ short 키가 작은 / medium-height 중간 키의 / petite 체구가 아담한

             특히 동양인'여자'를 묘사할 때 많이 사용된다.

 

4. 성격

    talkative 수다스러운  / strict 엄격한  / laid back느긋한

 

5. 관계

1) 부모님은 사이가 좋으시다.

2) 엄마와 매우 관계가 좋다
