In-Depth TED (Fri) 

Session 1 (7:30~8:30 pm) - American Drama Script Reading and Pop Quiz

Modern Family Season 2 is chosen for this session.

1) We take turns reading the script, line by line. 

2) We quiz each other's understanding of the useful expressions used in the episode.

3) We talk about the theme of the episode, culture, and etc. 

Break (8:30~8:35 pm)

Session 2 (8:35~9:30 pm) - TED Script Reading and Pop Quiz

Each week, a new TED talk is selected and its transcript is provided.

1) We take turns reading the transcript, paragraph by paragraph. 

2) We quiz each other's understanding of the useful expressions used in the talk.

3) We have a discussion over the topic. 

Session 3 (9:30~10:00 pm) - 5 minute Speech

It is not mandatory for each members to give a talk, but it is strongly recommended.

1) 3 to 5 volunteers give a formal 5-minute speech on the topic.

2) We have a quick Q&A and give feedback on each speech. 

The speech topic is given based on the TED clip of the week.
