The place where I live is a small apartment in the downtown area. The location is very convenient. It is not too far from a subway station and there is a park about ten minutes away on foot.

 At first glance, it looks very clean! Actually, there is so little amount of stuff in the living room, that I can hear my eco when I sneeze. Other than that, it looks like a typical Korean apartment, consisting of three small rooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and two small verandas. The overall colors are natural and cozy colors like chocolate brown, ivory and white. However, what sets my apartment apart from others is the modern electronic system. On the walls, there are some clever sockets, which automatically shut the electric power off and reduce the standby power when the user turns off the plugged appliance. Also, an application in my smartphone enables me to control the indoor heating system. I’ve heard it’s called ubiquitous computing, by the way. So I can pre-heat my apartment before I get back to my place. Consequently, I can save the energy consumption, still being very convenient.

 This is the best apartment I’ve had since I moved out of my parents’ house. The place is excellent at ventilation and clean because this apartment is quite new. So I’m pretty satisfied with it.
