I listen to a podcat news show in English hosted a Korean-American on a regular basis.
This news show has a British co-host (I notice by his accent :).
In a last episode, the host presented online fraud and inform listeners of an Internet link run by Korean governement to prevent this different types of online fraud.
She pronounced mistakenly 'cov' instead of 'gov', the co-host correct it but the female host spoke to him sharply saying "I also can read".
It seemed to me it was not professional behavior. She said that way as if she would not want to come across as uncompetent in English. But It's not the point. Even English native speaker can have this kind of mistake. The thing is to provide the general public with correct information.
She speaks very well and a good host but too bad for her hair-trigger response.
